Midtown Pawn opened for business on October 24th, 2011. The store is located at 1303 South 22nd Street, St. Joseph, Missouri, at the corner of 22nd Street and Mitchell Avenue. The business is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. The building was previously used as the Beauty Academy.
In addition to the pawn business, we specialize in new handguns, rifles and shotguns. We are an authorized dealer for Remington, Marlin, H&R, Bushmaster, Browning and Winchester firearms. Midtown Pawn is the only authorized Remington Dealer in the St. Joseph area. We also carry other brands of rifles and shotguns and stock most of the manufacturers brands of handguns. Most of our guns are priced below the suggested retail price from the manufacturer. We intend to price our guns competitively with other stores. We also stock a full line of ammunition, scopes, gun cases, Browning safes and mounting rings and bases.
Our store is also stocked with electronics, tools, new knives, antiques, farm toys, John Deere merchandise, collectible cars and trucks and a few appliances. The inventory increases each day and we have ample space for additional items.
